New scheme guarantees Komatsu quality for used equipment

Marubeni-Komatsu has launched a new scheme designed to raise the standard for used equipment and provide peace of mind for anybody purchasing a previously owned Komatsu vehicle.

The ‘Komatsu Dealer Qualified Used Equipment’ scheme has been introduced to ensure the Komatsu reputation for quality is carried through to used machines.

A Komatsu Dealer Qualified Stamp is clearly displayed on a vehicle once it has passed the stringent inspection and evaluation process conducted by Marubeni-Komatsu’s own certified service technicians.  If any refurbishment is required, only genuine Komatsu parts are used, thereby meeting factory operational criteria to deliver maximum productivity.

Integral to the scheme are specially tailored finance packages, to help with the purchase of the equipment and organised through Marubeni-Komatsu Construction Equipment Finance.

Based on the age and condition of the vehicle, Komatsu ‘Dealer Qualified’ used vehicles can be backed with a warranty while excellent after-sales service and parts are available through Marubeni-Komatsu’s network of dealers located throughout the UK.

The scheme is being applied across a wide range of Komatsu machines, from hydraulic excavators and dump trucks to bulldozers and wheel loaders.
