New Komatsu zero tail swing mini-excavators

Komatsu the World’s largest manufacturer of hydraulic excavators has drawn on its knowledge and expertise to produce a completely new range of zero tail mini and midi excavators designed to provide hard-working and high performance solutions for tight applications.

Available in the UK through Komatsu distributor Marubeni-Komatsu and its 17 strong Utility dealer network, the range consists of the following four models: The PC30MR-2 (operating weight 3,360kg), PC35MR-2 (operating weight 3,800kg), PC50MR-2 (operating weight 5,180kg) and the PC78MR-6 (operating weight 8,270kg). Productivity, stability and lifting capacity have all been improved over the previous range.

Cab space has been improved by 78%, and is even better than the conventional range with the cab interior being comparable to excavators of twenty tonnes and above. Access for maintenance is superb thanks to the tilt-up cab and fully opening engine bonnet and side hoods, affording excellent access to all the interior components. 500 hour service intervals keep the machine working harder for longer.
